Hi
I’m not exactly shore about this but I think there is a ”bug” in the V40.b3 (3.3.03) and didn’t know exactly where to post it?
Testing and ( now running ) V40.b03 with the latest security patches upgraded from sf2k3.1 SR 4
When upgrading my access-database I had much problem registering new members. Noticed there was no Latest News field when signing up ? After days of investigating I found this some missing letter in the table and added the S.
Version: sf2k_v40_b03
file: setup.asp

I think this line below is wrong and there is an S missing in STRLNEW
strDummy = SetConfigValue(0,"STRLNEW", rs("C_STRLNEWS"))

Sorry, yesterday I had tough time to make search on this site.
Yes you are right, but this is NOT a v4 related bug, it is a bug in v3.3.03-05 also, so it is replicated also in v4b03 (it was based on v3.3.03).

I just checked v3.4 RC 2 code and found that it was corrected...

Where can I post Swedish translated Languagespacks for v4b03 combabilety Mods like Aktive User, Rules eg?

Oh sorry, that is a Dev Team only forum. Sometimes I just assume that people can see all I can see . Nevermind, that topic has a bunch of similar upgrade related bug-fixes for v3.4 RC2 (currently running on this server), all fixed now.

Well, the best place for MODs are the MOD related forums. It is advisable to send language packs for existing "v4 compatible" (there is no v4 yet, so how can it be compatible?) to the outhor, so that (s)he can include it into the package.
BUT, if you need support for strictly internationalization/localization issues (i.e. not specific to that MOD) we can talk here. I'll try to help with all my knowledge .
This forum is a development forum for base Snitz code and related methodologies about internationalization/localization.
