several users of our forum have not understood the meaning of the 'Subscribe' feature and wanted to see it worded more clearly to indicate that it would send them e-mail regarding new posts... (e-mail notifications for this *** Perhaps?)
Also, the Mode dropdown box in the message editor, one user had the follwoing suggestion: Could this drop down be at the top with the format section? Then people might realise it has something to do with formatting.
Also, it might be useful if it popped up a message when you changed the mode telling you what the selected mode does. ---------- 'Mode' is a bit ambiguous... I had to play with it myself to find out what it did.

That has been fixed in the next version. There is also a help icon provided for users who want to know what the Mode option does.

We have added the "Click here to recieve email notifications for this topic" option on the post.asp page when a users makes a new topic/reply. Maybe that will help your users more.

To add Avatars you can install a MOD. It's quite easy to do. If you haven't downloaded the MOD yet, you can get it from http://www.heptite.com/snitzinfo/
