Ok the flood control seems to work most of the time, but it just happened to let me post again so i thought I should finally say something.

I posted a reply went to another window typed a short reply and hit submit. i got the error message saying i have to wait 60 seconds. i hit the back button on my browser and my message was no longer in the text area. and i scrolled down and my message was displayed. I posted then 40 secs from eachother as you can see below.

did you maybe hit the submit button twice? The first one went through, but the second one was caught by the flood control code?

no im pretty sure i hit it once. maybe i did, but i think i will almost bet i only hit it once
