My events calendar will only display 14 day boxes on the large calendar, and the small calendar looks like this

S M T W T F
6 1 2 3 4 5 6
7 1 2 3 4 5 6

I'm not sure what the problem is except when I run the mod_dbsetup it says some errors occurred and I should consult the Help: MOD Implementation.

The odd thing is the identical version of the forum and the events calendar running on my PWS works fine. The only difference is I had downloaded my database file to do it, and didn't upload the dbs file, merely used the one on my site and reran the mod_dbsetup file with the new error occurring. Anyone know what the problem is? I couldn't find a similar one on the forums.

I am helping ransom out on this, and as far as I could figure, this is some sort of problem with the database considering it works fine on his local site but is messed up when using the remote database. I have a database editor so I am able to change the lines or the tables if someone knows what I need to change or fix. If anyone wants to take a look at what the problem actually is, go here

I don't think the problem is with the database. Quite likely (I'd say surely, really) it's the server's date and time settings that are messing this up. Either is localhost has US settings and the server other different settings (UK or similar), or the other way around.

To solve this, if the web server has US settings, use the US version of the calendar, if it has UK settings, maybe try to use Huwr's version calendar files because they work perfectly well.

Hmm, that could be the case considering the server I'm running on originates from the Netherlands.

Is there a way to get a calendar that works fine regardless of where the host is located?

Well, I don't know about that. The original version certainly does not work. I don't know whether Huwr's version does it either. I suspect not, but I'm not too sure, since I don't have the MOD installed.

I think the problem lies on the original version, since there are many literal dates in US date format. I know because I had to change a calendar for a Dutch friend's forum. To provide a quick fix, I hardcoded the dates in UK format also, so I guess even I didn't do it correctly .

Hmm, it seems strange that it should be messed up because of the location of the server yet the date and times for the posts work perfectly.

Ransom, I had exactly the same problem as this and what caused it was the fact that I had installed the non-US dates mod (which updates database) and then re-uploaded my entire forum at a later date. I had forgotten to re-implement the file in the non-US date mod.

Hope this gives u a start, I am in a rush to go out, but will look for the filenames if u need more help later.

Yeah, because Snitz now treats dates in a neutral format, contrary to what happens with the mod. In fact the Snitz code had some problems with non-US dates formats, but now it's pretty much working. However, as I told you Snitz finds out what should be the date format to use (UK, US) and adapts to it. The events mod does not.
