I am looking for a developer to modify Snitz Forum to accommmodate messages with two body fields and two subject fields. The idea is that users can post in English and/or Japanese.

Hi David,
I think, the proposed way will complicate things a lot. There are too many changes required in almost every file, and the logic and SQL statements needs also change a bit. Think on active.asp. What will be shown there?
As you are doing it on v4b03.004 (I assume this), which is an introductory beta with only basic internationalization, you investment will be lost.
I used another way in http://www.istanbulmuzesi.org/forum and used special "language tags" (like [1033] and [/1033]) to differentiate between different languages. This also needs some changes in the database, in the whole code but just an addition of doLang(s) function calls, and adding that function to inc_language.asp...
I want to release this idea as a MOD after v4 is out. Just wanted to put my input...
