Hi, before I post this in the MOD W/O Code section, I thought I'd just ask here quickly.

I've got (or rather I'm making) an image map for people to choose their location on as I want a set number of options for them to choose from, but not a combo list of towns as it covers a large area.

Is there a way that I can store the place they click on the map into the DB?

I'll be using the ALT text and URL as the value I want stored.

Can anyone think of a way of doing this easily?

I'd say get a JavaScript function that enters the location in a hidden text field on inc_profile.asp. I'll move this to the MOD W/O code forum as that's where this belongs. No need to post it again

Thanx FrutZLe,

I've made a little advance, I've made the image map and have that live.

Currently, they have a drop down list to choose from. If they aren't sure what area they are in, they can click for the map and that tells them.

Here's a link: http://www16.brinkster.com/njoifm/register.asp?mode=Register

This will work, but isn't ideal.

Can anyone help me intergrate the map into the page itselft?
