Subscriptions vs E-mail Notifications
(This is for sf2k_v40_b03 and newer - the international version)
Some got to say it and here it is.
I’ve been posting, searching a lot about a e-mail notification - automatically e-mail's when someone's replied to the topic WITHOUT having to subscribe [Automatically]
And I found out that.
1. A dam lot of users out there wants it!
2. Read all the posts in the hole forum about it.
3. You had this feature in Snitz last year in an earlier version, but removed it and added Subscriptions instead.
Personally I must say I HATE the Subscriptions system :o((
And I don’t understand why you would remove a E-mail Notifications feature that was working fine.
Here is my point. Don’t remove it!, if it isn’t broken!
We want the right to choose what king of notification our boards should use.
I propose this. Add the feature back to Snitz and from admin Admin’s can choose what thy want to use. Subscriptions or e-mail notifications
Please all you other dudes out there that wants this, support this post, by adding a simple
I also want the feature “Subscriptions or E-mail Notifications” option in admin.
Last I want to say:
1. Sorry for my bad English - And sorry for being a pain in the ass.
2. We don’t care if the server has to send 100.000.000.000 E-mails a day, Give us the choice to choose.

I second that, for small forums like mine I would love e-mail notification!!!
Please give us the choice!!

No offence, but if you'd done a search, you would've found the codes to add a checkbox to the bottom of the post (near "check here to include your profile signature"). Then if you just add checked to the checkbox, it'll be on unless the user unchecks it.
Now please keep in mind that you, nor I, know why that checkbox was removed, but I'm sure there was a pretty good reason.

brownGhost, I think I'm getting a bit tired of reading your posts all over these forums, about the need for email notifications instead of subscriptions. You've stated your case and you're in fact overdoing it.
There is no point in requesting that feature here. v4.0Beta4 will offer the features 3.4 will offer, that's how it goes. Reading as many posts as you have, which I entirely believe because you've been kind enough to post in almost very forum about your own wishes, you should have read also that the next version will have whatever 3.4 will have.
Let's just put and end to this. Thank you.

if you read my post you will see this is a new issue. i'm asking for a feat: that gives the Choise from admin to have either Subs or Noteify, in future releases..
And that i have never ask for!
So this is the first post.
