Se non ve ne siete accorti, per la versione internazionale sono cavoli visto che la persona che si stava occupando di tutto da anni, Bozden, è stato trattato MOLTO male dai gran capi dello snitz e quindi ha deciso di interrompere la collaborazione e bloccare lo sviluppo.
Non so quanto possa servire ma concordo pienamente con la decisione di Bozden e, per quanto possa servire, rinuncio anche io a tutto il supporto (magari poco) che ho dato per lo sviluppo della versione 4...
No official topics for this workgroup so opening one and giving credits to people that helped out a lot and releasing the latest v40b03_patch003 ready language pack.
Thanks to Stracca (www.stracca.net) that translated most of the boring but important faq/policy/privacy part.
Thanks to Cicca, Andy, Teso, la palla and to all the CrazyFamily users for helping out in testing and tuning the translation.
 ALTERNATIVE ITALIAN WORKGROUP Translation.
In every italian translation I've found (even before v4b) a lot of words were left in english as choice.
But not always normal users can understand the meaning of "TOPIC" or words like that.
That's why I've started my own translation that is beeing tested by more or less 20 users.
Mainly TUTTI I FORUM (board) contains CATEGORIE (categories); CATEGORIE are divided in FORUM and inside every forum you can have different DISCUSSIONI (topic);
When you post you write a MESSAGGIO (post) in a DISCUSSIONE.
Anyway to use it is easier than to describe it...
Date and Time format will not be implemented 'till the final release.
Status of LangPack:
LCID= 1040
Language= Italian (Alternative Translation)
Translation Status= 100%
GIF File Status= 4 standart GIFs ready
Control Status= ~20 users forced to use the new version at this test site: Crazy Family-v40 Beta 3 !!!
Notes= v40b03_patch003 ready, test site not yet upgraded

This topic is for the italian workgroup AT language pack and stuff related to it, at the moment version 4beta03 and security patches 03 compliant.
Anyway a lot of people are working hard to add multilanguage support to the snitz (it should be version 4.0) and not a simple plain translation in your language to satisfy your personal needs...

Certo che ad inglese stai messo maluccio...
In ogni caso, questo topic è aperto esclusivamente per il gruppo di lavoro per la traduzione in italiano (versione alternativa) dello snitz forum, al momento versione 4beta03 comprese patch di security.
Parecchie persone stanno lavorando per rendere lo snitz multilingua (sara' la versione 4) e non semplicemente una traduzione lineare in una sola lingua per soddisfare le proprie esigenze e via....

gia' fatto non è semplice traduizione (ma testing implemetazione creazione nuovi mods) quello che facciamo noi non è solo un forum ma tutti i forum dello snitz...
poi abbiamo ricevuto anche la loro benidizione cosa vuoi d+

il nostro lavoro e free quindi?!?!?....

ho appena installato Snitz 4.0 beta 03 patch 004 sul mio server web, perché vorrei cominciare ad usarlo. Finora mi appoggiavo al servizio esterno di Delphi, che ora però, se non si paga, è diventato qualcosa di scandaloso! Ho aggiunto inoltre il vostro language pack.
Volevo complimentarmi con il lavoro di traduzione che avete fatto! Lo trovo ottimo e sono d'accordo con voi sulle scelte di traduzione effettuate! Finalmente poi qualcuno che sa che in italiano "Sì" si scrive con l'accento!
Piuttosto, ho notato un leggerissimo errore dovuto a distrazione: nelle funzioni di amministrazione forum c'è come titolo "Configurazione carateristiche forum" (caratteristiche con una t sola).
Ve lo dico giusto perché l'ho notato...
Ah, altro errorino notato subito ora:
strLangForum00190 = "Nessuna discussione trovato"
Volevo anche dirvi che se dovesse servire il mio aiuto, posso offrirmi volontario per collaborare con voi in questo workgroup e portare avanti la traduzione (eventualmente nelle versioni a seguire del forum, visto che per ora siamo al 100% di traduzione effettuata, se non erro...).
Tra parentesi, negli ultimi due anni sono stato il traduttore ufficiale di Delphi (http://www.delphi.com), l'ho fatto in maniera totalmente gratuita ed ora mi hanno trattato come un utente qualunque e vorrebbero che pagassi per avere un servizio decente (quello free è diventato pressoché inutilizzabile)... ma vabbeh, non andiamo troppo off-topic...
Ultimissima cosa (è una domanda da ignorante): aver impostato il charset su ISO-8859-1, comporta la certezza che tutti i browser di tutti gli utenti visualizzeranno correttamente le lettere accentate e i caratteri speciali? Io finora, per il mio sito, per andare sul sicuro, ho sempre usato le sigle HTML del tipo è per indicare "è", € per indicare il simbolo dell'euro, e così via...

mi sono scaricato l'ultima versione dello snitz in inglese, la 3.3.0.5 e pure il lang1040, come faccio a farlo diventare in italiano? a cosa lo devo sostituire il lang1040.asp?

A quanto ne so io, non si può fare con le versioni 3.3.x del forum. Devi usare quelle internazionali, 4.0.x beta, aggiungere il file Lang1040.asp nelle directory del forum ed effettuare una piccola modifica a config.asp affinché ti "veda" il file Lang1040.asp e tu possa utilizzarlo.

Come faccio a modificare il look della home page del forum? con un semplice editore di testo mi riesce difficile, e con frontpage non mi visualizza l' htm!

Piuttosto, le versioni beta del 4.0 sono sicure? Lo chiedo perché avrei intenzione di usarla al posto della 3.3 per il forum del mio sito, però non vorrei far correre rischi inutili a 600 utenti...

A bit of general answers but before that a couple of things:
even if the topic is about italian language please keep on using english to not cut out from the discussion. The second thing is that the topic is about a workgroup that is creating an italian language pack: from now on, for other questions on mods and graphics please refear to the appropriate topics.

Thank you mauromol, I will correct and update the package as soon as I have a spare minute. The definition for the charset is what allows you to see special characters, even if, for older browsers compatibility, it is always better to use the &#...

In teoria ti permette di usare tutti i caratteri del charset definito senza usare gli &#... in pratica con alcuni browser vecchi ci sono i soliti problemi

Don't, I repeat, DON'T use frontpage to modify the forums' pages.
They are not in html, there is a lot of asp and using an html editor you could mess up everything. You need to use a text editor but if you are not skilled enough, change the look by changing icon sets, colours, backgrounds and the logo. La 3.3 e la 4beta sono identiche tranne per il supporto multilingua, quindi il problema di sicurezza avuto di recente vale per tutte e due le versioni e per entrambe devi applicare la patch anti hacker
