If a posting/reply needs to be approved it would be very useful if the moderator get´s notified with an email.
I could´t find a mod to this...

I don't use moderation on my forums and I'm not very knowledgeable about it. I take that what you say is true and this post of your is just a request for a mod to do this.
So I'm moving this to the MOD Add-On Forum (W/O Code). Maybe someone will offer to help.

The moderator needs to subscribe to the forum he is moderating.
Then you need to apply this fix: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22105
And you're done.

Hi Davio,
I applied the fix with the repairs mentioned in the thread.
Unfortunately I still do not get mails before I have to approve them as the moderator.
I use Version 3.3.05 with Access 97. Any ideas how I can track the misfunction?

Did you subscribe to the forum you are moderating?
Are you email functions of your forum working properly?

Hi,
yes I am subscribed to the forum I am moderating and I do get a mail after having approved a new topic.
Hence my email functions seem to work properly.
But I´d like to get a mail with an request to approve a Reply/New Post too.
Any other ideas to track the problem?

Can you give me a link to your forum?
Also email me your admin username and password. Or you can create a new test account and give it admin access, so I can test it.
