I was just wondering if anyone has made a mod that allows for members to be approved so they may post in all forums. The way it is now, members have to be approved by moving them into each and every forum, which, if you have a lot of forums, is pretty time consuming. I can see how it is useful for some people, but it takes up some unnecessary time for others.
Also, it would be nice for the public to be able to view all of the posts in the forum, but not be able to register and immediately post.
I know the Usergroups mod does this, but it doesn't work at the moment, so it isn't of much use. Is there a mod like this out there in development somewhere? I know Nathan said something about making a usergroups-like mod over in that discussion, maybe he's willing to share?
