Is there a MOD to use a member list just for POSTING ability, but allow all forum members to READ all posts?
I know I can just lock the topic and MOD's can reply, but I don't want to give those I enable to post Mod powers.
I know I can do a Member List, but then people not on it can't read the posts.
Any ideas?

What are Private Forums?
Private Forums enable you to only allow certain members to see that the forum exists. If it's only password protected, everyone can see that it exists, however, they are prompted for a password to get in.

Not really, because non-allowed members won't be able to read the posts.
With the current Snitz features this is not possible. You'd need to change code to allow that.

Per my original post, I want EVERYONE to be able to READ the topics and posts in a givem Forum, but only members on a Member List to be able to POST a Reply to a Topic.
I need to be able to select from all members, not just Mods.
In short, a new kind of Member List function that allows posting replies, but not block reading by all.
Any idea's?
Any mod makers interested in making one?

I deceided to go ahead and use the Snitz Moderation to handle this.
I just put the work on my Mods to OK or Delete all new replies.
I like the ability to E-mail a comment to the poster.
When deleteing a "lame post", this actually cuts the mod's work a bit as they can delete and e-mail a "verbal slap" in one action.
The drawback of course is I can't have other people I'd like to have the ability to MOD just those replies in just that forum without making them a MOD, which on my site, gives them a ton of other abilities like file work ablity (that is all custom stuff).

hey i thin kthat the Posting Restrictions mod is wot u r looking for but i am not to sure about it.
i dont know where to get it from as well.
