Provide instant forumspace. One of our developers modified the code, and has made the forum so you can sign up for a forum (which is auto created by scripts) and allocates DB space on his servers. End result, instant forum for any users... he sells his server space, and the scripts for setting up accounts is not technically part of the forum... so he can charge for the setup and development time of that web application.
Go on, I would love to know how. If you have the html or asp needed for this, please send it to me.

I think what is being refered to there is forumco.com And I don't think they share how they do it.

I wish to make my money from advertising, and offer the service for free, is this so bad?
I have taken a look at forumco.com they do not give their service for free, but you have to pay a hefty fee for it.

So I will have to write my own scripts etc.

Hi, having gone to forumco.com, and applied for a forum, I have found that my e-mail no longer works.
I just thought you should know so you don't have the same problem.

Thanks for the reply, no virus, no server problems and the e-mail worked fine yesterday. I shall ask my server to delete what ever it is that has been sent to me.
I know this isn't anything malisious, but you can get mail bombs that do this sort of thing. I found a web site that specialises in viruses, mail bombing and mobile phone killing. Makes you think dosen't it.

I learned about Snitz from using forumco. Now I have my own server and do it all myself. Forumco worked fine for me and it was absolutely free (at least when I started my account). The charges are for faster download speeds and no advertising.
There was another site (that went under some time ago) that did something similar. It was homepage.com. When you signed up you got 5 meg of free web space (one ad on the page). But your site was yourname.homepage.com. A pretty easy to remember address.
I think Forumco's process should be pretty simple to duplicate (for someone with more skill than I). It seems like just a virtual folder. It might not even be that. It could just create a folder off the root and shares all the Snitz code off the master folder.
