I know some will mean this is a stupid question, but can I do this:

I have a running 3.3.03 forum.
Can I delete all the ASP files and upload the files from the full zip of 3.3.05 instead?

The main question is are there any DB changes from 3.3.03 to 3.3.05 ?

You should just be able to overwrite the 3.3.03 files with the new ones, assuming you haven't installed any MODs.

As far as I know there are two minor db changes in the new version:

table FORUM_A_REPLY, field R_MESSAGE: field type changed to memo instead of text

table FORUM_A_TOPICS, field T_MESSAGE: field type also changed to memo

Once you upload the 3.3.05 files, just run setup.asp to upgrade the database.

What will the setup.asp do with the database, can you post the process?

It will make all the structural changes needed for version 3.3.05. It wont delete any data.
