I updated it so it puts carrage returns in. I still dont know what you meant by 'If the administrator enters in a url, it should show up as a link'

The updated files (so you dont have to overwrite them all) are:
anc_post.asp
anc_pop_edit.asp

If I put in http://www.bogussite.com it will show up as a link instead of just text.

Cheers,
Tim

when i tried to open the default.asp file in the browser, i get this error:

<b>
Error Type:
ADODB.Recordset (0x800A0BB9)
Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.
/forum_beta/anc_inc.asp, line 3

weird wierd... are you using SR 2 or SR 3? because if you downloaded it before SR3 was released, it WILL NOT work, you need to redownload.

Well since i just spent three days translating this to french I feel i won't upgrade to SR3 i will have to do it all over again i hope they will get around to supply languages for this! It's a long and boring job having to do it all over again..

Let me know if ever it will work in SR2.

Thanks André

I tried running anc_setup.asp and got this error:

*****
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e37'

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'FORUM_anc'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.

/testforum/anc_inc.asp, line 3

Did you run anc_update.asp afterwards? I dont think I included the database updates in anc_setup when I did the updates.

Andre, I will make an SR2 compatible version today :)
