Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/pf/post.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How can I make that servertimeout be longer, or I cant?

No, its not uncommon for that page to time out.

On this forum we dont usually let topics get really long. I've been on Snitz that had topics 27 pages +

Post.asp will time out for long topics because the topic review at the bottom dispalys every single last stinkin post in the thread, and the if the thread gets really long it can cause timeouts.

maybe this is something that should be though about on the development of snitz. on the topic review you can either page thru the replies, or just show the last 30 or so replies.
