Hey guys,
Is there a way to search for all posts by a certain member? If not could someone possibly figure out how? Maybe by making it so that keywords are not required in the search form? Dunno... thought it might make a useful mod.
Thanks in advance for any insight,
Eric

You can do that now. I'm not sure about seaching without a keyword but I sometimes just enter a vowel like "a" because it's a good bet that whatever post a member made has one.

if you put a % in the searh box it should find everything, so you could just hide the field and set it to a % if you did not want a search box

Thanks for the workarounds guys! Unfortunately I misunderstood the initial request. They want to know if they can search for all topics STARTED by a particular member.... not all the posts they have made. Is this possible?

well in the database there is a field called T_AUTHOR, now using all my skills of deduction i would link this with the author of a topic , you could add a search on this field to find all topic's by user "A".

Psst! Hey, while you are at it, can you knock around an idea of how to cause the search engine to search other feilds created by MODs such as the LinksManager MOD, the Events MOD, and the Classifieds MOD ... like have a dropdown to select those areas as options sort of like the "Archived Posts" select box does? <- A wishlist item! :o)

Figured while you were at it, I just had to ask! LOL!
Studies come first though ... fun later, I understand. Was there for a long time myself.
Thanks for the consideration,
