Hi Bozden,

I have posted some of V4b03003 compatible language packs (those passed LangPackManager testing) for people who may want to try a multilingual forum with unicode deployment. This is not intend to be a repository but hope to provide some convenience for those interested in unicode deployment of Snitz Forum.

All unicode'd (UTF8 encode format) language packs are available at
http://www26.brinkster.com/i2asia/

  • Go to Snitz Internationalization
  • Check Unicode Language Packs
  • You will see download links for the currently posted unicode language packs.

I don't think it is a good idea to further distribute v4b3 langpacks in one place. It takes a lot of time to deal with them. Also, because the package at the sourceforce does not have the security fixes, it will cause more problems in terms of security.

Current status (people keeping/providing their translations) seems fine for me. Links to the downloads can be put at the "start here" topic.

What do you think?

I agree. I recommend again that it would be a good idea to have a repository/depository of all language packs for controlling/managing versions...which seems most appropriate to be managed under Moderator (YOU) for Internationalization.

I will remove a public link for langpacks at the demo forum.

Please let me know further.
