I have never used the bbs and need some help here.
I have downloaded the program and unzipped it. And
I saw the Access Database, but wheres the exeable?
how do you use the system so that you can have people that
are on your web site or rather my web site, setup there own
bb for there particular reason. And how can I as master of this
web ring web site I am talking about have a top bbs that all of
the others (bbs) within the site will run from?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Cindy, welcome on the board. If you can post this here, you can use a bbs .

There is no executable. This is a ASP package which runs on a web server, which can interprete ASP (so the executable is on the server). You can use www.asp101.com to start, if you are very new to the concept.

I'm not quite sure if I understood this, but do you like to have something like this: www.forumco.com/" target="_blank">http://www.forumco.com/ ?

It's a lot easier to use a hosted forum than to try to create your own. You'll have many of the same basic features, but a hosted forum may have some banner ads so that the host may recooperate some of their expenses. Many of these hosted sites are cheaper than hosting your own also.

With a hosted forum you loose the ability to modify and customize the code to suit you. That makes it all the worth while to set up your own fourm.
