My boards were one of those hacked last week and until I am able to fix or recreate, I would like to put up a note to all board members regarding temporary boards (frontpage bulletin boards) I have created. If I rename the current default.asp to default1.asp and created a page called default.asp with the information I want regarding the new board, will default.asp be pulled when members try and access www.webwomb.com/forum ????? If not, which page is pulled? Thanks so much for your help. Regards, Catherine O'Dell
I often use index.asp to block access to a forum. It superseeds default.asp on some (but not all) servers.
I like this because then I can still access the default by just typing in the extra default.asp part. . . but so can other users who are quasi-web literate.
