Hi,

I am having a problem viewing the installed Snitz Forums.

I modified the config.asp for a MS Access 2000 database. The setup.asp indicates that the database is successful connected. I can loggin to the admin menu and modify the settings but I am unable to view the forum. When I try to view the forum all I get is a blank page at http://www.ezBusinessSystems.com/forums/

My server supports both ASP and DSN database connections.

Any suggestions?

Are you using Netscape? Look for an unpaired <table> .. </table>, maybe you removed something in the code by accident.

I am using Internet Explorer when I get just a blank page.

I also tried to view the page with Netscape and I do get something but it is not a web page. I get a page of garbage that starts with the copyright notice.

As additional information, I am using Frontpage 2002 to publish the forum.

Thanks

The ASP Script cannot be executed because you named your file default.htm. Rename to default.asp then it should work...

Thanks _barbara and Doug,

It seems that FrontPage 2002 automatically renamed my default.asp to default.htm!

As suggested, I manually renamed the default.htm that was created to default.asp and it works perfectly.

To prevent FrontPage from recreating another default.htm whenever I publish, I marked the file default.asp as a file not to be published.

Regards,

MikeMike

Or you could use something other than FrontPage
