Hi,
I'm looking for a freeware as I can use for a diary for my visitors to use. Each user should have their own password for their own entre, and of cource each user should have exclusive entries.
I have been asked this from some members at my Forum.
Has anyone any suggestions?
Cheers / Tomas

You could make the members that want a diary moderators of their own forum. Then make it a completely moderated forum with only the "owner" moderator of that forum and make it for selected members only. That way only the owner/moderator can post messages and the selected members can read them. They can post but the moderator can delete them.
I wouldn't know of anything else that can do what you want. Did you take a look at the various ASP sites like hotscripts.com (or was it .net?)?

I just visited your forum and found that it has been hacked. Your categories and forums seem to be untouched until now but the title has been changed. So you should install the security updates asap and change your admin password. The security related updates can be found here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=118
For your question, I'm not sure if I understand well what you mean. Do you want to have private diaries for your members? If yes, the easiest way would probably be to create a private forum for each member who wants to have a diary. To do this, create a forum, for Auth Type select "allowed members (hidden)" and then select only the member who shall have access to this forum from the members list. This forum will then be visible and accessible only to that member.
Otherwhise, there is a free diary script I found at hotscripts.com, http://www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/8141.html which possibly fits your needs. I haven't tested it though.

OK _barbara,
I have taken this steps now, with assistance from Bozden.
I'll take a look at the site you recommended.
Tank's a lot!
