The database could not be opened !! Check your config.asp file and set the strConnString so it points to the database. Also check if strDBType is set to the right databasetype.

Thank you, it works. But after I upgraded the database to the final version, I have this error message:

You changed your post after I posted my answer to the original version. Not a pleasant thing to do...
Aren't you setting up a new forum? If that's the case why did you try to upgrade the database? It should the last version already...

The version I'm using is the one I downloaded yesterday and this is the latest version. I never have any problem with the previous version and I never modified the permission of the database Access file. I don't know why it happens to me this time. Also I have no experience of ASP or ACCESS. I like SnitZ Forum b/c it's easy for me to implement it to our internal network.

Anyway you didn't answer my question regarding the database upgrade. Were you trying to upgrade your database from a previous version?
Isn't your forum working already? Have you tried to visit the default.asp page?
If your forum is not working yet, please post a link to your forum. Also make sure you have installed the latest security bug fixes.

[I already assigned Read/Write permission to the Everyone group. But it still the same.
I had missed this one. The read/write permissions should be set to the IUSR_YOURCOMPUTERNAME user, not the Everyone group.

I did what you told me to do but it still the same. Here is what I did: 1. I can access the setup.asp without any problem. Anh here is the result: Forum setup has been completed.
Congratulations!! The forum setup has been completed succesfully. You can now start using Snitz Forums 2000.
Remember to change the default Admin password !!
If you have questions or remarks you can visit us at: http://forum.snitz.com
You can also post the address of your forum there so others can come and visit you. Click here to go to the forum. Upgrade the database. (shouldn't be needed for this database!)
2. When I click on the link "click here to go to the forum", I got this error message:
The page cannot be displayed There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

Thanks, I downloaded the new version again and it works! I can't not show you the link to my forum because it's in an intranet network and for internal use only.

Sure this is the same database. But don't worry, it works now. You know why? I need to change the admin password first, then it works !?!?
