You all know Smilie Manager 3.3 Well i added some smilies and when i type the code in the message box and click submit topic the picture wont show only the code for it. for the URL for the pics i typed the www.myserver.com/mypic name and i also tried /Picname.gif and none work any ideas?

this is something that has been answered a thousand times... here is answer 1001:

suppose you have uploaded all the smilies in a folder called images... the path you need to typ is NOT this:

http://www.yourdomain.com/images/icon_smile_big.gif

but this:

images/icon_smile_big.gif

i don't mean to be hard on you, but did you tried searching for an answer?

hey crash i tried that and still doesnt work, i did a search on this and didnt find anything and thats why i posted here to get help.

but neither one doesnt work for me

you said you tried /picture.gif and http://www.url.com/folder but those aren't correct.

please tell me EXACTLY what it is you tried. make a list of the things... please.

k thanks for the help

wellin my forum dir. i dont have an IMAGE folder so the image are in the same spot as the forum except for your flag mod which the images are in the folder called Flag Pics

then i went to the smilie mod and typed in the link to the picture like this

"http://www.myserver.com/picfile.gif" the picture showed up on the left but when i tried to post a topic it didnt pop up.

then i tried to change the lin to just "picfile.gif" since its in the same spot as the mod and that didnt work either but the pic showed
