To ALL,
I have been stumped on this one for days now......and dont know what to do.....
Topics in my forum that have NO replies appearing all strange.....
Problem :
After making additions to my topic.asp to get country, posts, Member Since / Last here etc, I now have this problem......
Everything looks ok when there is a reply to a topic. But when the topic has no reply, I get this error......
i.e.
Country:
ADODB.Field error '80020009'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
/forum/topic.asp, line 0
in the first cell of the topic, with the country flag jpg missing....
The whole of the next cell is completely black.......

For example. If there are any DEV members or anyone who thinks they can help me out on this .....please let me know and I'll give you a USERNAME / PASSWORD......
This one has stumped me........and is pretty frustrating....since the new posts today - I cant read.......
I might in the Short-term revert to my saved Topic.asp but I wanted someone to look at it first to possibly throw any ideas at me,.....

i already fixed it for him. that's why i said this sounded familiar. he had also posted this on my board. there was an entry in the rsTopic section that called the rsReplies recordset. that way, the topic showed correctly if there was a reply. if not, then the above error appeared...
