Hello,
The Active user 4.0 is a great peice of work, except when I have it on included on my front page. I have been getting the following error when I have inc_activeuser.asp showing on the front page of my forum;
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'SetConfigValue'
/Forums/inc_functions.asp, line 1640
I am running Snitz 3.3.03 with Huwr's mods and a few others. The rest of the Active Users 4.0 works, but this is the only error I get with it. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Huw's forum is not fully 3.3.03 compatable when it comes to config values Classic. . . you might have to ask him what the difference is cause I dunno. http://www.magicmushroom.org.uk
karyna, I really cant help you "ReadModConfig" is not part of Snitz or the AU Mod. If you are using Huw's code you might also want to ask him. . . . and I'm mono-lingual.

Nathan,
It has taken me a while to find time to look at this, but I got it going on Huw's code front page. All I needed to do was to take out of the inc_functions (well, rem them out) these lines"
' strDummy = SetConfigValue(0, "intAURecord", cstr(intTotalActiveUsers)) ' strDummy = SetConfigValue(0, "strAURecordDate", DateToStr(strForumTimeAdjust))
And it works like a treat. Thought that I would pass it on.

Huwr's Forum must not have the SetConfigValue function. That means your Active Users control panel and active users record will should not function properly.

Does anyone know where this "SetConfigValue" function resides ?? ... I'm having the same problem as Classismotorcycling - my counter is working fine, but goes to zero when the server is reset. SetConfigValue actually writes the values to the database, but I don't know where to get this function from
