as the title says, it was topic description feature like Iconboard has.

mine is more than a topic description. I have made it like a "slash-"type site, with a text which is shown on the main page and the rest (the message).
the changes you have to make,
- create a new field to the db ,for example, named T_DESC.
and then change
.forum.asp
.post.asp
.post_info.asp
you may also change,
.active.asp
.topic.asp
.pop_profile.asp
what you have to do is to look for the #Forum SQL which pulls out the topic info, and the #forum SQL which entres data to the db.
into these parts, you need to add T_DESC.
one day, I may think to document this mod maybe, but since the original idea is Dayve's, I think it's better to let him do this.

I am thinking the "T_DESC" field your adding will also have to be added to the A_TOPIC table to allow for archiving but I'll have to play with it and find out for certain.
