Is there a way to turn that off, or add a button so my visitors don't have to quote everytime?

At the top and bottom of the page where you read the topics is a set of links, one of them is "Reply to Topic".

Actually, that won't work. I'm using the threaded view mod, and if I use that it'll just reply to the topic. I need it to reply to the reply there without the quotes.

Well I guess you could open topic.asp and change the URL for the Reply With Quote icon a bit. Right now it says method=ReplyQuote and method=TopicQuote and you'll probably have to make it method=Reply

Make a backup of your current files before you edit them so if it doesn't work you can change it back immediately.
