There should be a way (like in inc_functions.asp) to add to the allowhtml function add for it to convert [flash][/flash] to <embed src="whatever the author typed.swf"> can't that be done? should be a little simple. i know dayve has done it, but he's lazy and didn't post it...
any1 have any ideas? or know a WORKING link to the MOD?

since you're a Web Dev/Flash Dev, i'd say that wouldn't be a problem for you!
try looking in the file you suggested needed editing (inc_function.asp) and add the part you want.

Dayve made a mod for this. You will probably find it if you search the archives.

Almost as lazy as a Flash Dev who doesn't do it himself

I was going to say something earlier about that remark, but decided to bite my tongue and see just how many people were willing to help after seeing that remark. |

For being 14yrs old you have to give him credit for learning this stuff young. If I learnt what I know now when I was 14 I would have been retired 10yrs ago, kickin back with my feet up on a beach in Costa Rica drinking Margeritas (had to say Costa Rica cause thats where my wifes from)
SubKamran,
There is a MOD named Post Buttons Plus (not sure if someone updated it with Flash, but I did in my files), but Aljish and myself came up with the code (mostly him I just debugged) you can find the Topic Archived Here

They would have had to have in vented computers about 15 years earlier for me to have been able to do that, I hadn't even seen a computer ti the age of 17, and that was a zx80

There's an age give away if ever there was one. Sadly at the age of 17 calculators were making an appearance, but who can forget the great old amigas? lololool

SubKamran,
If you would like to see an example of a Topic with an .swf file embedded you can check out this Topic on my Forums. quote: They would have had to have in vented computers about 15 years earlier for me to have been able to do that, I hadn't even seen a computer ti the age of 17, and that was a zx80
When I was 14 the Commodore64 had not been born yet. I think I bought that around 16yrs old. At 14 I think I did have an Atari paddle ball. zx80, that sounds like an old Tandy product.
