I'm juggling whether or not to remove email addresses from the public view.
I don't know how to do it. (Of course).
I'm just not 100% convinced that removing members email is the right thing to do.
I couldn't "harvest" my site of any addresses... but I don't have the knowledge to know whether or not this email harvestor is the best. Its just a demo.
Can someone help me with the pro's and cons of hiding email addresses from other members of the forum.
Hmmn. Now that's where I started. I think I will leave the address in.
I think that a member/spammer would have to do a lot of point and clicking to get the emails on the site.
Hopefully the person will be kind enough not to explain to the target of this type of endeavor something to effect of, "We are appreciative that so and so was kind enough to hand over your email address to us.”
Ive downloaded the mod and when installed it works great, but it wipes out a few of the other mods Ive installed such as the avatar mod. Is there only a few lines that need changed or added in those asps so that it will work with my current one, or will it not work with other modifications. I would appreciate any ideas. Thanks!!
