I've done a little script ASP Info (current version is v0.8b) that show important server information and available/installed components.

I'm planning on releasing as a single script as well as a simple one-page-MOD.

The script is for anyone who wants to view the "features" of his/her host.

The MOD is a single page in the admin area (admin_aspinfo.asp or something like that), can be useful at setting up email to work.

Note: I've included the testemailcomponent.asp script, and since I don't know who's done it, I wasn't able to ask for permission to use it. (I'll give credit of course)

You can view/test the script here:
http://firewire.adsl.dk/onewaymule/aspinfo.asp
http://haibaan.digitalrice.com/aspinfo.asp

I'd greatly appreciate any comments, ideas and suggestions (especially what component tests I should add), please let me know what you think.

I haven't "released" it yet, I'm still testing and improving it.

And I first wanted to know what you guys here think of it and what else could be done.

But v1.0 should be available for download soon.

You could check for MODs (maybe choose the top 20 most popular to begin with).

Yes I like that one. It could be used anywhere on a site I suspect? It would be useful as a non-forum mod.

Your one looks good !, I use something similar called XCDiag.asp yours looks like it checks for a few more of the Frontpage components though , nice work.

Wow! 249 components!
The reason I've written ASP Info is that I've been looking for such a script, but the search results were poor.

The best one I found was ASPDiag at http://jetstat.com/asp/products.asp

Kat,
yes, you can use it anywhere on the site. And as I said above I planned on releasing it as a script and a MOD.

Though it seems like there's not need for my script with this ASP Component Script Richard posted.
