I have a mailinglist that checks the added emails before they get listed on the mailinglist - if someone write a false email they just get a message that their mailadress didnīt respond so they could not be registred.
I know there are serval good mail mods to prevent dealing with false mailadresses, but I think it would be better to stop them at the front-door instead of dealing with their registrations after they submitted just another a@a.com
Is this a question of the components ? - Iīm using jmail - and it works fine, donīt know if this would work with other components. But I donīt have any clue how the script checks the mailadresses. But it would be a very nice implementation the next time someone is working with an mail-mod.
The mailinglist (Spawned Mailer) is free: http://www.spawned.co.uk/Downloads.asp
