I am looking for a free ASP Newsletter Manager that sends mail through ASPMail.

I have found a nice application named "Action Mailer" at: http://www.theaspsite.org/apps/default_apps.asp

and it uses ASPMail but the code is not written properly so it doesn't actually send out emails.

Is anyone familiar with this program or has anyone got it to work?

Any help on getting this to work would be great. The owner of the site hasn't replied nor does the site have a forum to discuss this problem.

Anyone with ASP experience could fix this, I believe.

Perhaps you could try the newsletter MOD from Snitz. It's only loosely integrated with the forum. I think you should get it to work as a "standalone" app.

I've found several great ASP Mailing Lists but none of them were written using ASPMail or the ASPMail code is poorly written because it doesn't work.

If anyone knows how to add ASPMail functionality to this it would be awesome!

http://www.webwizguide.com/asp/sample_scripts/mailing_list_script.asp

I tried to add ASPMail using the code that someone else used but received this error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4'

Variable is undefined: 'ASPMailSendMail'

/cfact/mailinglist/send_mail.asp, line 206

Of course it seems easy to just define the variable but it appears like it has already been defined so I'm not sure what to do.

If anyone could please check this out I would be very happy.
