http://www.hmongnetwork.com/board

When you make a new post or reply to any topic, it doesn't show up EVEN THOUGH it shows up that the post was recorded into the database.

I tried looking for the post in the database by opening it but I can't find it in there AS WELL.

What is wrong?

HELP....thanks in advanced.

Ok, now your forum is working but you are in violation of the Snitz copyright.

As explained in the readme.txt that you have in your downloaded Snitz files, to use the Snitz code you need to observe these two rules:

'## All copyright notices regarding Snitz Forums 2000
'## must remain intact in the scripts and in the outputted HTML
'## The "powered by" text/logo with a link back to
'## http://forum.snitz.com in the footer of the pages MUST
'## remain visible when the pages are viewed on the internet or intranet.

Please correct this situation.

sorry... I got this "heavily modded" board from someone a while back. When it came to me, it didn't have it.

If you guys want, I can put a link at the bottom to refer it back to this site.

I like the board. I'm not trying to do anything bad.

I'm not saying that you are trying to do something bad. I guess if you were you wouldn't be coming to this exact site.
The fact is, however, that you are in violation of the Snitz copyright. Please change your inc_footer.asp to include the link back to this site. Also you need to change inc_top.asp to include the Snitz copyright at the top.
Please do this.

SaiyanJin,

If you want you can e-mail me your inc_top.asp and your inc_footer.asp files and I can add the required copyright notices and the Powered By Logo/Text Link back where they should be.

Also, we need to know where you obtained this "heavily modded" version from.

It was emailed to me like a year ago when I first encountered this forum. I went thru the "Show off your forum" site and grabbed a few sites from there and went on and on and on stumbled upon this forum that I got now and emailed the admin about it. He/She was kind enough to email me the whole thing.

I no longer have the email. I can try to work on it and get the links to show up again. Give me time.

Thanks.

You can download the official version of this forum here:

http://forum.snitz.com/download.asp

Then, just take a look at the inc_top.asp and the inc_footer.asp file. There is code in both of those files that has warnings around them about not modifying them. That is the code that you need to insert in your files.
