Because we have been having intermittent problems with the Help: General / Current Version Forum, we decided to create a new forum and lock the old one.
What I did was create a new hidden forum and then moved the last week worth of posts from the Old Forum to the New one.
What I didn't take into consideration is that when you move topics, the forum generates an e-mail to the user stating that the post had been moved, furthermore, since the new forum I was working with was Hidden at the time, the e-mail states that the post was removed from public view. |
