When I went to add the 1.0 RTE to another site I realized 2 things.
1. Stimmy's Spell Check was gone
and
2. I had problems because I had installed Richard's Message Icon MOD.
The Spell Check I can figure out on my own I think(hope!) but I am worried about getting Message Icons to work. However, if it comes down to it I guess i will go with RTE since it will probably improve the experience of board users most.

Message icon? like avatars? It shouldn't be affected. . . . but I moved the top of the main <form> element on post.asp (This is why the username and password were moved to the bottom of the page!) Make sure the avatar select area is within that main <form> element.

No it's more like the Smiley MOD for posts. You can have a ! or ? or smiley next to your topic in forum.asp to help show the overall mood of the initial post. The selections were right under the formatting buttons but now.... LOL

Avatars are an image you choose to represent yourself and it appears right under your ranking stars.

Nathan, I have a suggestion for version 2 (big surprise isn't it? lol).
How about editing the smiles admin page so that you can edit more than one icon at a time? Right now when you want to disable 10 icons you have to set them to disabled one by one which takes up a lot of time. Also when you update to the RTE mod and already have the latest smiles mod by Stimmy, you have to insert the order value one at a time. This is a lot of work.
I think that if you allow multiple edits at the same time you can save a lot of time. The only thing to keep in mind is that you can't submit an edit and a delete at the same time, so there would have to be seperate pages for that, or a "security check" that makes sure you can't edit an icon and delete one at the same time.
Hope this will be taken into concidderation (sp?).

Yup, I'm going to try to implement that into version 2.

Nathan, this is another one support rte, it's created by the author of shoutbox.
It works on ie4+ and no component, please check the demo yourself there.
I'm impressed, though I haven't shop around much.
