Yes, it's slow for me too. You maywant to change the hosting server, to something faster.
In these days of computer viruses, asking if you may put your disk into someone's computer is the technological equivalent of unsafe sex. |

so u think its just my hosting company? anything i can do tot he forums themself to load/run faster?

Not that I know off. My guess is that you're using Access as the database for your forum. Using mySql or MS SQL as the database might improve the performance of the forum. However, your webhost is very slow. Your forum doesn't have many post yet, imagine how slow it would be when there're many users logging in at the same time?

I'm actully running off of the hosting company's main site, cause my DNS stuff hasn't switched over yet. maybe that will make it faster. yes, i am running it with access. how do i switch it to mysql or ms sql? do i have to contact my hosting company and see if they support it?

Yes, you have to contact your host, ask them if your hosting package support SQL or mySQL database or not. If it does, then ask them to setup a database for you. You'll be provided with username, password, server address, database name. The last thing you should do is to make change the database constring in config.asp.
