I just installed Snitz Forums 2000 newest version on my website at Brinkster.com Just as the ReadMe file says after I installed it I opened the default.asp I logged in as Username: Admin Password: admin . It goes to the Successful Login Page and then goes back to the forum, but instead of showing the "You are logged on as Admin" and the Logout button like it should. It shows the Username and Password boxes and the Login button. Since is doesn't go to the new screen it also doesn't show the Admin Option link.
Can someone PLEASE... PLEASE.... HELP ME!!!!
Thanks in advance!

Try again... Rasco. The links work for me. I have registered a guest account: guest, pass: guest. You can try to log on, and you'll see that problem.
In these days of computer viruses, asking if you may put your disk into someone's computer is the technological equivalent of unsafe sex. |

guest/guest gives an invalid username or password error... so does admin/admin and if Ewim0 can't log in he can't have changed the admin password, right? |

I have a brain cramp now.
i originally thought it was one of those "on error resume next" problems but I went through all the files and fixed that( I was having a problem with the registration but then I fixed the on error thing) Everthing else seem to work but I can't get to the Admin Options because of this...

Actually I did change the Admin Passsword and Ewm0 is the name a made up when i was testing the Registration. In either case neither of them can log in. "Test" was also unable to login.

You want the long or short of it?
When logging in, the url stored in the cookie is "www25.brinkster.com/ewim0/forum/". Everything is in lower caps. It doesn't recognize, or the server doesn't recognize caps in URLs. So the forum is requesting a cookie from "www25.brinkster.com/Ewim0/forum/" when the cookie is saved under this url "www25.brinkster.com/ewim0/forum/".
So as long as he doesn't use the caps in his brinkster username, there shouldn't be any problem.
