Ribkick, I'm not sure if this works in Netscape, but it does work for IE (v5+ at least), you can just specify either the width or the height and the browser will adjust the other automatically. Or you can just take out the height and width all together and the images will display at their original size. |

I have a forum with this and I made some changes. If I add the code changes to post_info.asp I error out
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Line 1: Incorrect syntax near ','.
/forum/post_info.asp, line 582
I have the avatar hack 2.0, my hack for the quoting and a couple of others but the only one in post_info.asp is the flood control hack which I removed and still got that error.
If I replace the post_info.asp with a virgin one no problems.
Any ideas?
You can find the code here

Once, again Richard I found it right after I posted.
It was in some of the custom smiley code a friend wrote for me.
We did not check a radio button by default and that is why the error occurred.
All I had to do to get this to work was follow Richard's instructions except for post.asp.
Here is all the code to do this it enables clicking on the smilies to add them to the post.

What is on line #181 of your forum.asp file? (also include about 5 lines above it to, if you can) |

I have tried to install this mod but I'm not able to update the database with admin_mod_dbsetup or mod_dbsetup. There isn't anything to choose for this mod in the drop-down box. Also, there is no mod_dbsetup in the zip I received at the beginning of this forum. What should I do?

If you are using a newer version of the mod_dbsetup.asp file (probably named admin_mod_dbsetup.asp) then the extension and filename format has changed.
It used to be blahblah.dbs
now it's dbs_blahblah.asp
That's why it's not finding anything. |

Richard,
The file is already called dbs_messageicons.asp. I don't understand why it can't find it.
Don't you think it's ridiculous to have to post to two different forums? Everyone posts in the forum where the mod originated - it's just more natural. My speak.
Thanks for your help Richard.

Then you must be using an older version of mod_dbsetup.asp
You can download the latest version of the mod_dbsetup.asp file (it's now called admin_mod_dbsetup.asp) from here:

btw... I'm going to lock your other post and just keep this in this thread... |

I have been using the newest mod_dbsetup which is called admin_mod_dbsetup. But, I installed the newest one and it still doesn't recognize the files and I'm still getting the same error message.
