Updated:
Version 0.9 - Allows admins to allow or disallow topic rating by forum.
Instructions now included to use either stars or numbers as rating method.
(hopefully it is all ok this time).

I didnt use the code or test it, however I modified the DBS file to work with 3.3 and renamed it. I also provided a download link.
I will implement and test it when I get the time to.

yes all you have to do is rename the dbs_topic_ratings.asp to topic_ratings.dbs - its the same format as the older versions.
I installed it and could not get it to work on my 3.3 forum. a file was missing from the zip, pop_topic_ratings.asp

Darn it - I'm at home and don't have the files here.

Just out interest - what did I do wrong with the dbs file? worked fine for me when I tested it on 3.3

Nothing was wrong with the dbs file, just on 3.3 it has to be named dbs_whatever.asp - not whatever.dbs
All I did was rename the file.

Ok I installed it and everything works SO FAR... but I cant actually test the ratings part as pop_topic_ratings.asp is missing from the zip.
Otherwise it works fine.

It's kinda messy on the old display in topic.asp - so if anyone can suggest "tidying notes" I would like it.
Just wish I had those darn files here.

Hi,
I added the mod according to the readme and updated my access 200 database but when i go into the topic.asp, I get the following error:
ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
/home/inc_functions.asp, line 881
Please help

It is the inc_functions around line 881 which is where I added the rating functions as per your readme. thnks
