So this version won't work on v3.1 SR4? Or will it?

I'm asking because I had an absolute nightmare trying to install it on my forum using the original files for the MOD. Messed up all sorts of things. I was even getting errors on my registration page. So if this might work for mine it would be very cool.

I haven't tested it with the Version 3.1 SR4. I do not have any old forum to test it. The original My Personalization Mod file (v1.2), maybe made for 3.1 Sr4. Did you try that one?

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The field 'FORUM_MY_CONFIG.THEME_ID' cannot contain a Null value because the Required property for this field is set to True. Enter a value in this field.

/forum/my_edit_config.asp, line 91

Kenno, I get the following:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e37'

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'FORUM_PM'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.

/forum/my.asp, line 314

I haven't installed any PM mods. That wasn't listed as a requirement of the MOD.

If you don't have the Private Message mod installed, you can deactivate the PM, by accessing my_edit_config.asp and uncheck the "Show Private Messaging Alerts". I'll fix the mod by setting "dont'show private message alert" as default so that people without private message won't see the error. Or do you have any better suggestion?

Did you run the dbs_my.asp (from MOD Setup) to update your forum database? If you did, and problem occurs, open your database with MS Access, and enter 0 at the THEME_ID field of FORUM_MY_CONFIG table. There should not be a problem because when you run the database update, that field will be set to 0.

Have private messaging alerts turned off by default. I missed the part about going to my_edit_config.asp to make changes in the readme.

BTW Kenno, Nice mod...it kinda works in v3.1

it won't change the colors but everything else works. If you want, when I finish modifying it for v3.1 Sr4. I'll send the mods over to you so you have both.

Yes, I actually tried both versions that I found, Kenno. But I think I'll just wait now until Sparty revises it. Thanks!

Actually since I didn't get a chance to really look
at it when I wrote the post...all you need to do to
get it out of the box running in v3.1 SR4 is:

Instead of putting the include/my_theme.asp right under
the my_conn in inc_top.asp move it to right above the body
tag in inc_top.asp and it will load up just fine..

for some reason up at my_conn it just won't do it. But it
works great right above the body tag, no issues at all.

I'd like to try out this MOD. Are you going to bring up that part of your website any time soon so I can download it?
