1. tschieve's Portal is not really tschieve's code.A big part of codes based of snitz forum codes and this is free,in case that you don't now.
2. Than based of Brent Code but modified (not really nice)
3. Nobody, even Snitz, can decide for what I will use this forum,
for Warez,Sex,Porno or Politic News and Talk.
So, please stop to ask or critic the Snitz Forum User for what they use this Forum.
BTW: I think one or two neu user are from the tschieve's group but with a new Nickname and now support this group. (AFord?)

what morpheus meant is include a file like this
<!-- #include file=lang1030 --> to all of your portal pages. If u ran huw's portal than portal pages would be portal_content.asp etc. But not sure with his. Then link like portal_content.asp from your inc_top.asp like where links section is!!!!

I think your portal when its installed and when u loggin then the profile link goes to view profile instead of edit profile.

Interesting thread to say the least.
Why not include a "HOW TO" to your down load for those of us still using 3.033? and show a running model? I would be glad to be the tester on this.
I too have been waiting a long time for the release of this baby!

I have read this Topic thread from start to finish, and have been shaking my head from beginning to end! This will be the first Forum I have ever registered to post a message, as I usually only go them to learn. In this case, I feel compelled to comment.
To those of you intelligent enough to code, and humble enough to offer your work to others for free - "Hats off and a hearty handshake"! PLEASE....... keep up the good work, as there ARE a few people out here appreciative of the long, hard, mind-boggling hours you put in to producing something you are not making a dime from!
As a "minor" programmer, I know the frustrations of having your Shareware work hacked, and your Freeware work stomped on by those who ask for something for free, but are unable to to provide helpful suggestions - ie - working code that solves a bug issue.
To those complaining about "bugs" in free programs, if you are intelligent enough to write your own scripts -
1) why are you using someone else's script instead of writing your own that you KNOW works???
2) Instead of spending hours on mindless putdowns, insults, and sarcastic comments concerning the hard work, effort, and good-will of others, why not be intelligent enough to spend your time producing working code snippets to correct the bug issues, then post them here, with your blessing, to help produce a working project??? I am sure the authors would be glad to give you credit for your help!
Yes, it is frustrating spending hours searching for, installing, and removing scripts that have too many bugs to be useful, or do not work properly, if at all. But then, those of us without the free time, or the knowledge to produce our own work, we have no choice but to try various scripts. Remember the age-old adage - "Beggars can't be choosers"?
As an American, I appreciate the effort and good-will of ANYONE who is willing to help me learn! I do not care what nationality you are, your sex, color, etc. Anyone willing to help others in any way, for free, is A#1 in my book!
PLEASE....... let this be the last post along this line. If you can take the time to post a message here, please let it be a constructive one, that provides a solution to those of us who come to learn, searching for a solution to a problem.
May each of you have a day blessed with increased knowledge and gained friendships! Thus is the TRUE wealth of all humanity.
