Cnewman, I posted 2 posts on this page (page 5) on August 26 and September 4 in response to ClanRegister's question, where he asked when the 3.4 version of this mod will be out. Here are my responses:quote:

"Lame" is jumping onto a topic at the tail end without reading the entire thread. Davio doesn't "owe" you anything ... not even a reply. However, you "owe" him an apology for being so rude to him publicly.
If you want to talk, trash, send it to him privately. Personally, I don't appreciate your comments. When you start coding for free and get the 5th degree for being kind, then maybe you could have something to complain about. Until then, pipe down!
Davio has chosen to be a public servant ... not a door mat. Give him a lot of respect. His code can make your forums rock. If you can do it better, then do it. In the mean time ... no more mouthing.

I just wanna say that these ppl are doing this for free in their spare time, yes u need the Mod but show some respect man, ur getting all this for free.

I understand why he is upset, because he had to go through 5 pages of posts. But that was his mis-understanding.
Lydecker, I know what you mean. If you are willing to take a shot at creating the graphic, like I said, I will add it to the poll mod. I am not so much a graphic guru, you see. So I can do simple images like what I have provided with the poll mod. |

Wait a sec, if you guys saying Poll Mod for 3.4 is not released yet! then how come i got a zip file named as Poll_Mod_3_4_02.zip and in the read me intially it says

I installed this mod, I hope I did everything perfect but this MOD did'nt worked :( i can add/remove polls do everything but in Topic.asp in the post it was'nt showing me the POLL!! :( check out on http://www.janubaba.com/forums you can add poll but u can't view in topic.asp even futured polls works and voting too.!!
IS it problem in MOD or I did something wrong? btw i've added most of the mods for 3.4! |

You've got a modified MOD by KB, based on Davio's stuff I suppose. I've got it working on a test server. A couple issues, but I am getting the polls. I'm also using 3.4.02, maybe you need to upgrade?
Otherwise then maybe check your code. I copied the modified files over the 3.4.02 files as they were for testing anyway. |

Guys, understand that I am not providing support for the Poll Mod version KB released.
And if you are having problems with his version of the poll mod, post it in the Help: MOD Implementation forum. I won't tolerate anyone posting help requests for someone else's mod in this topic. |

Forgive me if this has been asked too many times but is it possible to make it so that when a poll is locked, no further voting can be done? Also it be recorded in the database if a member has voted on a topic or not? The cookie method just doesn't cut it.
I like the new features a lot. One of my favorites was the date selector for allpolls.asp because after a couple years you have a tremendous number of polls to load.
This is looking pretty sweet and the last piece my puzzle needs. Not too rush you or anything
