forgive me if this isn't the proper place to ask this question. I am very interested in using your poll mod on my Snitz forums ( http://forums.therumble.com ). However, I am looking for a mod that is based on the member’s database as to eliminate the possibility of multiple posts per user. Cookies and IP based mods allow for this possibility, as I'm sure you know, where a member’s based poll would make it very difficult for any one member to submit more than one vote per poll.
I did search these forums and only found one brief mention by yourself that addressed this several months ago, but didn't see any confirmation that it was indeed added to your mod at one time or another. I see that you have added a mode for "Members Only" however. Is this what I'm seeking? Or is this just that, allows only members to post?
Other than this one question, this mod looks excellent and your hard work on such things is very appreciated by those of us that utilize them.

To answer your question, yes.
The Members only mode, uses the database to save what polls the member has voted in already and it doesn't allow un-registered users to vote.
The Everyone can vote mode allows both members and non-members to vote. When a non-member votes a cookie is stored on thier computer. When a member votes, a cookie is stored on thier computer along with the poll they voted stored in the database.
Both the database and their cookies are checked to see if the user has voted in the poll.
There is no ip based polling with this mod.

i found on http://216.119.71.133/snitz a add on for this mod, to have 20 choices. But the link is not working anymore  Is there someone who can help me to find this mod? Or is it simple to do it by myself?

Hi, I installed the poll on my test server and it works fine. But now when I installed it on the production server the featured poll selection isn't working. It doesn't display on the default page because the option button in the Administration isn't "sticking" when I submit the form. How do I fix that?

This forum is going to be full of me asking a question and answering myself. I figured out that there were two submit buttons on that page for two different purposes! Duh!

I would also like to use your Poll code. Are you still having a problem with your DNS? I can't seem to hit server either through the URL on the first post, or the one with the IP address. Does anyone else have a copy that I could get maybe?
