Davio I'm using 3.4.02 database. I have a mutated version of Colleen's modification of your original 3.3 poll mod, but it's been an uphill battle trying to get it to work properly on 3.4 |

What I meant by database, is if it is an access or mysql or ms sql database. But I presume it is an access.
So you did not have the 3.3 version of my poll mod installed on your forums? You will be doing a fresh install.
Beta testers Burthold: Testing on mysql and sql database. Bookie: Testing upgrade script with access database. Carefree: Testing clean install of mod on access database.
Ok, that should cover it. Although I would love to test the upgrade script on a mysql and|or sql database.
I will email you guys a link to download the beta when I have finished testing and packaging it. Hopefully by end of the week. Time permitting. You will post all bugs you get in the Help: MOD Implementation forum with the words "Poll Mod Beta" in your subject title.
Thanks |

Do you have a previous version of the poll mod? I just need to test the upgrade script with sql database also. |

I am only doing an upgrade from a 3.3 version of the poll mod. Anything earlier than that would have to do a new install. |

Well, I had said I would have it ready to beta test by the end of the week. But it seems I was wrong. I installed it on my 3.4 version, fixed the errors I could find and it seems to be working pretty well. All that is left is to write the install instructions. Should be able to do that later today.
Beta testers will get an email when I am done. |

I just tried to set it up, there didn't seem to be any errors, I updated the database, but I never see the "New Poll" link.
Any thoughts?
I can e-mail you the site password if you would be so kind as to take a look. |
