Now that I've installed this software (again), I've finally found the code for installing a fresh sql database. Why do we need to find this at version 3.1 (or me 3.3) of your software. Having followed your progress now for a couple of months, still not much of an improvement in helping others, it only gets worse, because the software keeps getting updated.
Keeping in line with updates (not installing beta's ) almost every version upwards 3.1r4 are making it more difficult for users to use and to configure. Questions asked in the Forum never seem to be answered, or are hard to find, or raise another question.
First how to install, then how to configure, en now how to implement the so called "mods", which are nothing more than modifications to the software. This is one of the things I've figured out so far.
Although I'm a System Engineer, I'm still shifting through the many lines of text (the code) which make what you finally get on your screen. I think you should consider most of us are not so knowlegable, and therefor do not understand or partly understand the english language. I think you should consider this. I understand it, but still need all my knowledge and lots of time to perform a simple update.
How to improve this, can't we:
First of all less the amount of (code) editors, or save their added codes in a single hidden forum, which is only visable to the developers etc. (so hidden to normal users)
For normal users this would make things much more clear, Although I can't believe I have to explain this to you admins, maybe you've been to busy developing...
Second make a general help file for starters, which deals with... well you must know how to start a help file.
I'm simply missing one, I want one and I think most users want one to. It would make your software much more easy to use, wouldn't you think so..??
