I'm using NT authentication against my Win2k domain.
When I log on as an unregistered user and register,
I get the following error message when I click 'Submit'

quote:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Field
'FORUM_MEMBERS.M_PASSWORD' cannot be a zero-length string.

/register.asp, line 295

The same error message appears if I choose Auto-login.
I have tried both 3.3_02 and 3.3_033 and they both get
the same error message.

Any tips on how to solve this? I'm supposed to show off
the board to my bosses next week. :P

Thanx! /a

I have the same problem and I also need the board up and running ASAP to show the boss. It looks like a Win2k or Access 2000 problem to me as the board works fine on NT with Access 97. Please help!

I'm assuming it should be picking up the NT password, but for some reason isn't doing so. Other than that I ain't got a clue!

I "solved" the problem now by editing the table in
Access and setting "Allow zero length" to yes for
the affected columns (about 15-20 of them). But I
would still like the bug to be fixed. Anyone?

Thanx! /h

I just ran into the same issue using Access 2000 database... What tables and columns did you need to update?

They were all in the FORUM_MEMBERS table. I just kept
reloading the registration page and changed the column
that was mensioned in the error message.

Good luck! /h
