You are right bozden. We now have version 4 also, I should not have forgotten. I am sure you will do that upgrade for this Mod. Please let me know if you want to know anything from me to make it language compatible. Though it is fairly simple.

Gulp! Please don't expect from me to upgrade every single MOD. This will be expected from MOD writers, or next version will run only with the core code . This is a problem I expected to face. Some MOD writers already have done it by integrating a language file. They will adapt to v4.0 easily.

What I plan is to take a small set (2 or 3) standalone (meaning not to many changes in the core code) MOD's and play with them coordinating with the MOD writer. This way I hope I can put some standarts and additional support functions for MOD's.

I'll do it while integrating into an actual site. I plan to take the Events calendar because there I'll meet date/time specific issues. I'm also thinking on Slash and/or CM mods.

Any ideas?

PS: Just registered to your site. Nice resource there!

Ok I can do that. The language File? This is within the zip for International Version Or there is more than that I will need to do.

I don't know if you have looked at the Mod. The strings are mostly for acronyms and ofcourse the Link names. And are concentrated on one single page. And can can be referenced anywhere in the site.

If you guide me I will do it.

P.S. I showed my daughter that you have registered.

Set it to 2

const iTotalPages = 2

the value of iTotalPages should be equal to the highest number you have in arrPageName

when I setup the mod, I can't proceed at step 5

Find the following statements in your inc_top.asp.
--------------------------------------------------

" <a href=""" & strForumURL & "active.asp" & """><acronym title=""See what topics have been active since your last visit..."">Active Topics</acronym></a>" & vbCrLf & _
" |" & vbCrLf & _

The links in the mainnav are pointing towards the following URL

http://forum.snitz.com/forum/active_users.asp

To correct this go to Admin Options and Select Main Forum Configuration to set the correct path for the Forum URL.

And also in inc_mainnav.asp delete the text marked in RED below from all the lines.

Response.Write "<a href=""" & strForumURL & arrPageName(PgeHome) & """>" & arrPageDesc(PgeHome)& "</a> "

Just look for the similar statement, should be around Line 354

Nothing Strange, You have defined only three pages in the inc_pagecollections, but if you look in inc_mainnav there are more links. Since the constants are not defined they are defaulting to a value of zero, which is value for active_users.asp

Response.Write "<a href=""" & arrPageName(PgeActiveUsers) & """>" & arrPageDesc(PgeActiveUsers)& "</a> "

Response.Write "<a href=""" & arrPageName(Pge?????) & """>" & arrPageDesc(Pge????)& "</a> "
