Hello everybody!
I'm not complaining because I'm tired today, but... Why do most of the members post messages with subject area telling nearly nothing? Here are some examples:
How do I... Help!!!!! Error How do I do this? etc etc etc
Everybody will be more helpful if we can "read the topic from the subject". What do you think?
Thank You

What seems especially ironic is that these subjects come from people building message boards so you would think they might know better.

I have to admit to doing this a couple of times but it DOES get people to read the post because they want to see what it is all about.

Increasing hits? Well, it takes a lot of time with my 56K modem and current bandwidth we have in our country to open a post. This will also eat the bandwidth of the host Snitz is on (do you see the the numbers at the buttom - processing times in seconds? Must be maxitasking !!!)
I'd really appreciate if people use the subject line for the purpose its named for.

I seldom open topics without a specific subject. I'm also stuck with a slow dialup.

If the subject is not indicative of what is in the post, I skip right over them, becaus the author obviously didn't care enouph to put a title that tells what they are talking about, and must not realy want a reply.

Hey hey hey now, I have done it like 2 times. I am just saying, for most people at least, if you start out the sentence in the subject line and end it in the post, people want to see what it says. I don't want to turn this into a fight, I am just saying. Have a nice day!

I really don't think people do want to see what the mystery post has. Links should be as descriptive as possible. And how about if someone searches by subject line?

No one is fighting bud
But we're all piping up and saying that we do disagree with you... nad from the looks of it... no one has agreed yet I'm just making the point, not fighting. So take it for what it is worth, you'll be losing responses if you use the subject line as you speak here at these forums. We are developers and deal with a high volume of posts each day, to have someone using this subject post method is not conducive to it's geting a response
