OK - here's what I want to do (hopefully without a lot of code writing). I have an existing forum set up, whch I do not want to lose. But I want to add a second forum (a second installaton of forum in a different directory, containing totally different dsicussions). Can I set this up so a login to one forum logs a user into the other? Or will the poor long-sufferigng users have to log in twice (once for each instance?)
Thanks (If this were easy, anyone could do it <G>)

Dont think you can do it. Only with alot of code changing. You would need to add new tables, change table names in code etc.

Begineer? Need help installing the forums? - www.aslickpage.com/snitz_help.html
Currently I have two Forums running which are dealing with 2 different user-groups, on a sql-2000 server based platform. And yes when they are using the one forum they WILL NOT HAVE access to the other, privacy and security reasons being the main issue here.
I have one group using the website. The only reason why I was going to set up a different forum is beacuse the first forum is getting a little arge and unwiedly. SI I was goin got break on earea off as a seperate forum.. (where most o fthe traffic seems to be. then the other topiocvs wouldn't get buried. Am I making sense here?
But I was hoping to have one registration and log in work for both forums (or is the pluaral of forum "fori"? Perhaps if I se both cookie settings to website instead of forum?
