Some of my Members (and only occasionally) get this bizarre "Edited by" time stamp automatically appended to their posts. I can manually remove it byt editing the post, but they return eventually. What the heck?

If you don't want it you can turn it off in the Admin Options --> Feature Configuration

Just turn Off, Edited By on Date
